Batman: The Telltale Series Episode Two Release Date Announced

Telltale Games officially revealed the release date for the second installment of its episodic story for DC Comics’ Dark Knight in Batman: The Telltale Series.

After it was released digitally in August this year with its first installment, Batman: The Telltale Series will now continue its narrative arc with its second entry in the episodic story centered around Bruce Wayne as the World’s Greatest Detective with “Children of Arkham” set to arrive in September 20, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Although the new platforms have received a release date for the game’s second episode, players of Batman: The Telltale Series’ PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will receive information on when it’s dropping on their consoles at a later date.

Fans of Batman: The Telltale Series should expect to see many of the same characters from the game’s first episode in Children of Arkham, including Harvey Dent, Selina Kyle, the aforementioned Bruce Wayne, and other familiar faces from the Dark Knight’s universe making a return in the next plot. Naturally, as the season progresses, even more characters from the Caped Crusader’s world will be added later on.

Those who are going to PAX West this weekend will be able to try out the upcoming second episode of Batman: The Telltale Series live on Saturday at 8:30 PM P.T., September 3, but it will be off-site during the convention. The game’s new Crowd Play feature will be publicly demonstrated as well, which is Telltale’s version of a multiplayer mode for the title, and it allows a group of fans online to help decide the direction of the story, as they can cast votes for the choices they want the player to make for Batman.

Batman: The Telltale Series’ first episode is out now for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, while the second episode, Children of Arkham, will launch on September 20, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
