Just Cause

A game by Avalanche Studios and Eidos Interactive set in an open world with main missions, side missions

and side quests as well as collectibles. You play as Rico Rodriguez working fot the Agency. On a call from

your boss, Tom Sheldon you are dropped on San Esperito, a Caribbean Island and your task is to overthrow

Salvador Mendoza. In order to do that, you must cooperate with two frictions: the rebbels Guerilla and the

Rioja drug cartel. You mostly fight against Mandoza’s Black Hand Mercs and The Montana Cartel. His next

operation is located in The Island Of Panau (in Just Cause 2) wher his task is to again overthrow ‘corrupt’

government, this time by a man named Pandak “Baby” Panay, son of the previous ruler. This time his contacts are:

Karl Blaine, intelligence asset, unknown man known as Sloth Demon, blackmarket dealer, and three fractions: the

Roaches (an organized crime syndicate), the Reapers (an insurgent socialist militia) and the Ular Boys, an

ultranationalist rebel group which espouses traditionalism and opposes foreign influence. Rico’s next operation

is in his birthplace, The Republic Medici, Mediterranean Island, which is ruled by General Sebastiano Di Ravello.

His help this time comes from his old friends Mario Frigo and Dimah Al-Masri. The three games of Just Cause are

conected with several things: same leading character, open world map, overthrowing governments, the so called

Chaos System, unique way of combat using the grappling hook as well as unique, lets say, driving skills. You can

use any wehicle available, from motorcycle to jet plane. The games really do take a lot of time to complete and

that time spent is really exciting and funny and challenging at the same time because of its way how you can

manipulate with your vehicle or your victim and yet challenging because of its still clever bots that you fight

against. One interesting thing about Just Cause 3 is that as a voice behind the radio host for the in-game radio

channel is David Tennant, who starred as the tenth doctor in the longest running series (50 years), Doctor Who.

So, whoever is from the Doctor Who fandom, will certainly be enjoying the game.
