Ubisoft released three separate trailers, showing off few of the classes in the hack-and-slash game For Honor.
Since For Honor’s debut trailer at E3 2015, gaming fans have been eager to get some information on Ubisoft Montreal’s upcoming action hack-and-slash title, but most of them have had to wait until now for the studio to start delivering more specific details. Thankfully, the developers of For Honor have used PAX West 2016 as a stage to promote the release even more by unveiling three brand new trailers for Samurai, Viking, and Knight characters.
For those uninformed, these specific Samurai, Vikings, and Knights are just three of twelve various hero classes to be found inside the final version of For Honor. That being said, it’s important to note that Ubisoft has decided to make these specific characters three of six warriors able to be chosen by players during the game’s alpha period, which will be available on September 15 and runs through September 18. Fans can sign up on this link, but since the test is over, it doesn’t necessarily mean one will be selected to give it a try.
As detailed in For Honor’s three trailers below, there’s the Kensei from the Samurai faction, the Raider of the Viking set, and the Warden of the Knight group. Each of them wields their own unique weapon, with the Kensei handling his nodachi blade and the Raider using a big battle axe, with the Warden, who is master of the long sword.
Even though all of the above-mentioned trailers show off parts of the multiplayer in For Honor, many fans will be excited to know that the game won’t be an exclusive experience for more than one person fighting together all at once. As a matter of fact, last year Ubisoft Montreal made sure to confirm that the action game is going to have a single player campaign.
For Honor will launch on February 14, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
