A new trailer is released for Pokemon Sun and Moon, showing a new Alola form of Rattata, Z-Moves and Snorlax finally standing up.
If for some reason gamers needed a reason to get excited for Pokemon Sun and Moon, Nintendo has finally given that to them in the latest trailer for the game. Trainers that bought their copy of the latest games in the Pokemon franchise will get a special bonus, access to a Munchlax holding Snorlium Z. The normal Pokemon will evolve into a fan favorite Snorlax who can easily fatten the competition with the Snorlium Z item, with his signature Z move, Pulverizing Pancake.
Snorlax isn’t one for showing big bursts, or any bursts, of power, but now, after 20 years of laying down, it looks like this Pokemon is finally ready for one massive attack. Nintendo’s choice to give Snorlax a special move seems like a very wise decision, taken the creature’s popularity into consideration. Thousands of Pokemon GO players recently stampeded trough Taiwan in the hopes of seeing Snorlax.
But, Snorlax isn’t the only Pokemon who is going to get a Z Move, with Raichu’s Alola form showing its new Electric Type Z Move, Stoked Sparksurfer. A lot of other Pokemon will get their own Z moves, even though there are generic moves for each types.
The trailer also showed Rattata’s Alola form, which is something that old school Pokemon fans will appreciate. The mouse-like Pokemon is getting anew, black appearance, alongside a Dark Typing which will help for some future permadeath runs, if people attempt to solo the Pokemon franchise only with Rattata.
As far as the story of this game goes, there are zero to no details yet, thanks to Nintendo being all quiet and secretive about what the players will experience with the new Alola region. What is known is the name of the antagonists, Team Skull, who will attempt to influence the day/night cycle, which is what the titles of the games are.
The games, Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun, should come up exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS on November 18, 2016.
