BioWare reveals concept art for the Kett, a new alien species players will encounter through the story of Mass Effect: Andromeda.
With Mass Effect: Andromeda taking the franchise to a new galaxy, the possibilities that present are limitless. Fans are excited to see what new planets they can explore, the new threats they will encounter and the new alien species they will interact with in the new game. BioWare is keeping their cards close to their chest, just recently revealing a new alien race the Kett.
The Kett were revealed for Mass Effect: Andromeda as part of a rush of information that was released for the game since the N7 Day. The Kett are still mysterious with no information available about them, beyond the fact that they serve as antagonists the Ryder siblings will have to deal with during Mass Effect: Andromeda’s story.
Very little is known about the Kett, and with N7 Day behind us, it’s hard to say when can fans look forward to more information about the alien species. Mass Effect: Andromeda will release sometime in the first quarter of 2017, and there are rumors that point to March next year. Until then, there are only a few major gaming events: PlayStation Experience and The Video Game Awards, with no guarantee that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be featured in any of those.
Now that EA has realized that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be one of the biggest titles that have yet to come, they will to their best to promote it. So, while Andromeda may not get featured at an E3 or any similar events to E3, it’s probable that a couple more trailers get released between now and the unset release date, especially when one considers the excitement created around the game’s recent cinematic trailer.
The flood of information at N7 Day told us that Andromeda won’t be the start of a new trilogy, so fans should be satisfied for the time being after Andromeda releases and they have time to complete it. Even with that being the case, it should be exciting to learn more about the Kett in trailers to come, so fans can discover the role of the new alien species.
