DICE and Electronic Arts officially revealed the system requirements to run its upcoming first-person shooter Battlefield 1 on PC.
Luckily, DICE and Electronic Arts gave PC fans about a month of time to get ready for Battlefield 1’s release if they need to do so by officially announcing the game’s system requirements for the platform, all of which can be found below. What’s interesting is that some may view the final specs for exactly what kind of gear is required to run the game as being ordinary, but naturally, that all depends on how well-invested one is in their rig’s hardware.
Whether players go for the minimum or recommended PC specs, they will need a 64-bit version of Windows installed and 50 GB of free space available on their hard drives. After that, however, the aspects differ quite drastically, as the minimum requirements of the game ask for an i5-6600K or FX-6350 along with 8 GB of RAM and a 2 GB HD 7850 or GTX 660. Of course, a more better version of Battlefield 1 on PC will demand even more out of one’s system, as the recommended specs are an i7-4790 or FX-8350 paired with a Wraith cooler, 16 GB of RAM, as well as an RX 480 or GTX 1060.

Apart from the latest reveal of Battlefield 1’s PC specifications, DICE also shared couple of changes it plans to incorporate after the analysis of the data gathered from the title’s open beta. As it turns out, developers are planning to introduce some balance adjustments, and a tweak as to how scoring works inside the game’s Conquest mode, which is the traditional 64-person multiplayer.
Naturally, every platform that supports Battlefield 1 – that is, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will receive the game on the same launch day. Nevertheless, if some players want to play it a little bit earlier than others, DICE and Electronic Arts are offering a Deluxe Edition which gives some fans access to the title three days before those with the standard release. About the plain iteration, it’s crucial to note that the regular PC version is digital-only in North America, which might irritate some players on the platform who wanted physical releases.
