The Elder Scrolls: Legends Open Beta Now Available on PC

Bethesda has launched the open beta for The Elder Scrolls: Legends, which gives everyone an opportunity to play the highly awaited collectible card game before it fully launches.

Announced in 2015 at E3, The Elder Scrolls: Legends is Bethesda’s strike into the world of digital card games. Additionally to card upgrades, ranked play, and all of the other stuff that fans may anticipate from a competitive collectible card game, the title will feature a story campaign as well, which should give fans of the Elder Scrolls franchise something to keep them occupied as they wait for The Elder Scrolls 6.

Since April, The Elder Scrolls: Legends was available in closed beta to those that wanted to test the game out on PC. Although, as the work and search for feedback on Bethesda’s game continues, the beta of Legends is now in open mode, removing invites and giving everyone who wants to play a chance to be included.

To be included in the open Legends beta (for now, only available on PC) all potential players have to do is get the Bethesda.net launcher, create an account (or log into an existing one), and download the game.

As previously stated, the game is entirely free to play and it’s also worth mentioning that unlocked content like cards and titles that The Elder Scrolls: Legends players buy or achieve from now on will remain with them when the game gets fully released. Furthermore, back when the game was in closed beta, Bethesda lifted the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) so that player can share their feelings and thoughts on the game anywhere they like on the web without limit.

Even though those who haven’t managed to get a closed beta invite will most likely be ecstatic to get involved, The Elder Scrolls: Legends open beta may also give doubters a shot to check how the title is different from Blizzard’s card game Hearthstone, which generates $20 million a month.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is supposed to release for PC and iOS devices before the end of 2016.
