Marvel Super Heroes is the first starter pack for Disney Infinity: Edition 2.0. It is mainly meant for players who cannot use the infinity base of the original system (Wii to Wii U or PS3 to PS4 is compatible) or have migrated to a new system and require the peripheral. Users of the Xbox One version need this starter pack or the second one Disney Infinity: Edition 2.0 – Toy Box Starter Pack as the peripheral for the first version on the Xbox 360 is not forwards compatible.

For the PC version, which has the free-to-play version Disney Infinity 2.0: Play Without Limits, the content is identical, but it is all digital and does not contain any physical elements. The game and the infinity base are tied to specific systems, but the other content is platform independent and can for instance also be used with the Android / iOS game Disney Infinity: Toy Box 2.0 or the Windows Apps version of the main game. All included content is also available separately, but was first released through this starter pack.
