    Avatar

On first of december 2009 by Ubisoft was published James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game alongside with Lightstorm Entertainment

and Fox Digital Entertainment as well as Gameloft (iPhone, Mobile) and was developed by Ubisoft Montreal entirely in Dunia Jade

game Engine for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS Portable, PC and other platforms as well such as Nintendo DS, iOS, Android, Java ME and

Symbian^3 which makes this game one of the most spreaded games platforms-wise. Back then it was a 2009 third-person action-adventure

single-player video game prequel to James Cameron’s Avatar and used the same technology as the film to be displayed in stereoscopic 3D.

And the story is set in 2152, two years before the events of the film, Avatar and have multiple possible endings depending on choices previously made.

You are allowed to choose the appearance of the character from a set of pre-defined faces, although not the name. On the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and

PC versions, the player is able to choose a side – to fight for the Na’vis or for the RDA – each offering different gameplay, weapon set, skill set, and

environment. The avatars are less geared up with firearms than the humans and they use primitive weapons but they are more stronger and deal

more close combat damage to humans so the fight gets even. The skillpoints and skills (offensive, defensive and tactical) as well as credits exist and

recovery is available up to five times. There is no manual saving, only checkpoints.

However, we would like to point out the new Avatar game that will be developed by Ubisoft Montreal again and will utilise the Snowdrop Engine,

the same in-house engine as Tom Clancy’s The Division. So, speaking of the engine used, the money invested and the fact that this project will be

done in 2018 and some even predict that it will take even more time and suggest the year of 2020 at least, we can expect one extremely vivid,

colorful and mesmerising world of Pandora that will make you, as Cameron says “shit yourself with your mouth wide open.”.
