All PS4 players will have Matterfall within their reach for some two weeks from now as it will be released on 16-th of August.
Saddly, it won’t be for PC or any other platform except as we mentioned, PS4. The reason for this decision of the Housemarque
developers and as well as the publishers, Sony Interactive Entertainment is probably the tremendously developed piracy when
it comes especially to the PC platform so it is understandable why they would lock us out of having this quite good game for at
least PCs. It is single-player only and it counts for side-scrolling shooter with platforming elements. The game was announced
back in October 2015 during Paris Games Week.
The story of the game is set on a futuristic science fiction world that has been infected by an alien material known as “Smart Matter”.
You are Avalon Darrow fitted in an armoured battle suit. You can jump, dodge, and blast aliens and also create platforms to explore
the environment and generate shields to deflect attacks of enemies.
Since I personally have no adequate quantity of informations on the radar about Housemarque, all I can say is that we can expect the
game to be of a good quality as the trailer is promising and also the fact that it is one of the developers for Angry Birds Trilogy and it
has on its record games such as Alienation, Nex Machina (earlier this year, in June).
