Battlefield 1 Map Names & Images Leaked

A Battlefield 1 fan uncovered previously unrevealed map names and images from the Battlefield 1 open beta, revealing both new and old multiplayer locations.

Thanks to the efforts of this Redditor, gamers interested to know more can now take a look at couple of Battlefield 1 maps, which range from the earlier announced mountainous Monte Grappa in Italy to new locations like a historic French Chateau.

Gamers have now spent huge amount of time to explore the Sinai Desert map, which is the sole inclusion in the Battlefield 1 beta. The location centered around a sandstorm features great balance of close combat in the building centers, big open spaces for vehicles and snipers, and a lot of airspace for planes to enter the fray and rip the train to pieces. Although that’s making it a logical choice for the beta, most gamers are going to be very interested in maps like the Argonne Forest (which should offer a great deal of delicious destruction of forest space), or a more urban close-combat environment such as the city of Amiens.

The latest discovered Suze map marks the third time the Battlefield franchise has returned to the Egyptian locale, with a Battlefield 4 campaign mission that takes place there and Battlefield 2142 having witnessed many titan drops there back in its day. Gamers who pay close attention to details will no doubt be looking out for potential easter eggs when the map becomes playable, though right now all gamers have to go off of is the screenshot provided below.

Gamers have been speculating that the map with the still unknown title is going to be based on Fao’s Landing, because of the similarities between the screenshot below and a concept image that’s been revealed earlier in the game’s development. The open beta files don’t hold the answers themselves, but it’s obvious that the new leaks of Chateau de Chantilly and the Suez Canal will excite fans of the series.
