Destiny Players Can Now See Stats About How They Perform In PvP

Latest fan-made tool gives Destiny players the ability to see a statistic breakdown of how they play PvP, including what abilities and weapon classes they favor in the Crucible.

A fan of Destiny has crafted a new tool that lets anyone who plays Destiny to see a graphical representation of how they’re doing in PvP. Simply called Destiny Data, the tool is available here. Players will have to enter their PSN ID or Xbox gamertag, and the site generates data and graphs for them with percentages of their overall kills acquired by each class of weapons, melee, grenades, and super. The site also shows which class of weapons players prefer in their primary, special, and heavy weapon slots.

The creator of the Reddit site goes by dawnington, and mentions that by doing this, he or she is learning to program so the tool is pretty basic, but received a lot of feedback since the site began to spread through the Destiny community. Dawnington plans on adding more features in the future, including the ability to sort stats by time period.

Fans can make use of the tool to get more informations about their own style of play, to compare themselves to streamers or other high level players they follow, and it could even be used as a different source of information about any competitors players may stumble upon in PvP, especially in playlists like Trials of Osiris.

Talking about PvP, it might be easier to play in the Crucible now with little connection errors, as earlier in the week, the game was plagued with them after the recent update came to Destiny. After that update, Bungie provided a hot fix to repair the issue.

PvP goes on to be a strong part of Destiny, as fans continue to spend a good amount of time in the Crucible as they await for Destiny’s latest expansion coming this fall, Rise of Iron. Bungie revealed yesterday that in Rise of Iron, class items will be affected once more by shaders, which should satisfy lots of players.

Destiny: Rise of Iron comes out in September 20th on PS4 and Xbox One.
