Uncharted 4 Received Its First Multiplayer Pack and Update 1.08

Naughty Dog has detailed the contents of the first major update for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, also known as the Lost Treasures pack, and revealed that big changes for the multiplayer are coming soon.

After several delays that ultimately made Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to arrive in May this year, the game has resulted in a massive success story for both Sony and Naughty Dog. Not only the game has outsold all others in the month of May, but it has already surpassed sales projections set by the last major Uncharted title. Now with only few days away from July, Naughty Dog has decided to freshen up the experience for players by releasing a major update together with the first multiplayer expansion.

The Lost Treasures multiplayer pack will be first up for Uncharted 4’s multiplayer, which amounts to the first major content delivery featured as a part of the multiplayer road map that was revealed by Naughty Dog a couple of months ago. The update will add five new weapons, more than 100 new vanity items including skins, pre-sets, and taunts, the Path of Indra mystical, and new boosters like Enhanced Radar, Hardened (which decreases damage), or Gunslinger (which increases weapon swapping while rolling and reload speed).

Although for many, the biggest change that’s coming in this update is the addition of a brand new map called Sunken Ruins. Described as a smaller, faster paced map, its influenced by the single player campaign like most of the maps. The map arrives to everyone for free as well as all future map releases, in an effort to keep the player base together instead of separating between those with DLC and those without.

Fans that want to know more details can tune into Naughty Dog’s official Twitch channel on Thursday, June 30 at 11:30 AM PT / 20:30 CET to watch the new ranked mode in action, as well as some questions answered by developers that are related to the multiplayer changes.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is now available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
