Final Fantasy 14 Mobile Reveals Battle System

A new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy 14 Mobile showcases all nine playable jobs in action. The combat system presented in the trailer highlights unique abilities and improved animations for each job. While the trailer emphasizes class abilities and user interface (UI) elements, it does not demonstrate character movement during battle.

Final Fantasy 14 Mobile recently unveiled this new gameplay trailer featuring all nine playable jobs in the standalone MMO. Although the foundational structure of the critically acclaimed MMORPG remains the same, the introduction of new abilities, animations, and UI elements suggests that Final Fantasy 14 Mobile will offer a slightly different experience compared to the game players are familiar with.

Additionally, Final Fantasy 14 has announced that it is developing a new mobile version of the decade-old MMO. Unlike the cross-compatible port for Xbox, Final Fantasy 14 Mobile is a standalone game that includes many of the original title’s jobs, stories, and activities, all streamlined for mobile devices.

The trailer, originally shared on Weibo, showcases the combat system of the upcoming mobile title. It displays gameplay and UI elements for each of the nine jobs. Class abilities are organized within a mobile-friendly interface featuring ten buttons, one of which is a large icon that activates new basic attack combos when pressed. Some abilities also allow the use of radial menus to access additional buffs and skills, while simplified versions of each job’s gauge are visible above the interface.
