According to a post on Twitter from developer Respawn Entertainment, the fan favorite Titanfall map Angel City will be coming to Titanfall 2 as a free DLC for all players.
Fans of the first game will be excited to learn that the developer is going to add one of the series’ most iconic maps in Titanfall 2. Angel City, one of the most cherished and recognizable battlegrounds from Titanfall will be coming to Titanfall 2 as a free DLC.
The announcement came from Respawn’s Twitter account so the amount of information was small. But the developer made one point, which was those who pre-ordered Titanfall 2 will be able to access Angel City three days earlier than everyone else. However, Respawn haven’t shared any details as to when the DLC will be available for players.
Respawn also hasn’t showed any pictures or video of the map, so it’s unknown if it will look the same as its predecessor or if it will have an entirely new look. Taking into consideration the trend of other shooters reintroducing past maps to new games with upgraded graphics and designs, it’s possible that the same will happen with Angel City in Titanfall 2. Of course, this is not to be taken literally.
As opposed to other shooter games (and most video games, as a matter of fact), every Titanfall 2 DLC will be free. This means anytime Respawn introduces a new map or game mode, all players will have access. Actually, other than pre-order players getting access to Angel City couple of days before the rest of consumers, it seems like all players across all platforms will be able to access Titanfall 2’s DLC at the same time.
Titanfall 2 is going to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 28, 2016.
