In celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary and as a part of the festivities, Square Enix has announced release dates for the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 DLC.
RPG Site, which gathered information from the Japanese-only event, has reported that a special Booster Pack DLC will be coming on February, and will allow Noctis and the gang to put on Magitek Exosuits. By wearing the suits, the team becomes invincible for a short duration of thirty minutes and after that needs to recharge it.
This will probably become a favorite accessory for those who want to take part in the title’s new game plus, which will be the best route to experience the updated story content eventually coming to Final Fantasy 15 bring certain characters, as well as fill in story gaps that got players who finished the game worried and confused.
On March 28, players will be able to have control over Gladio in the game’s first major story DLC. This marks the first time another party member becoming playable outside of Noctis. In episode Gladiolus, players will finally learn what happened when Gladio took a little time off to himself during the game.
And it seems like Cor Leonis will be joining the party. He joined shortly after the first leg of their journey, then seemingly vanishing from existence, never to be seen again. Episode Prompto, which stars the party’s rambunctious photographer, has been announced for some time in June, but no additional info was released. Right now, there’s been only one piece of DLC released for Final Fantasy 15 so far. The Holiday Pack was dropped back in December and added a few cosmetic goodies for players as a free update.
Once the additional story content has been added and the following story DLC is released, maybe then will Final Fantasy 15 be considered whole. However, by then it might be too late for those who completed the game months ago and were left feeling unsatisfied.
Final Fantasy 15 is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One.
