    Pneuma: Breath Of Life

“In the beginning, me! I’m awake! I’m alive! I can feel it. Life. Flowing through me. Breath. Thought.

A few second there was nothing. But now, here I am! There is only one logical conclusion.

I am god and this is my universe. It is pretty cool. But it’s too dark and silent. Formless and void.

Not fitting for a god of my stature! Let there be light! And there was! I must be god! I can move!

I can talk! I can walk! I hover to and fro about the infinite surface.

Plane as it is. This is amazing. My universe.”

Pneuma: Breath Of Life is a puzzle game that uses a narrated story focused on self-discovery and the

fundamental nature of reality. The game was designed to test the Unreal Engine 4 and Physically Based Rendering.

The game intends players to think outside of the box to solve a series of environmental challenges.
This game varies from, let’s say, The Turing Test (although one bit of Pneuma is featured in The Turing Test as an

Easter egg) or Papo & Yo because of it’s even wider arrange of different objects and tactics that you must deal with

and know in order to progress through the game.

The story of the game is one that puts you in gods’ place as the narrator assures us in that thesis of his.

As you will progress, you will find that the story tackles some fundamental questions of life and god as well as being

one and his loneliness as well. So, apart from the challenging and at times even really hard environmental puzzles,

we have here quite rarely unique story that, however, has really mind-blowing and totally unexpected ending which

leaves the players jaw-drop on the floor, caught unprepared for that type of an outcome and when you realise the

fact that this game was made to TEST SOMETHING, in this case it was the Unreal Engine 4, you’ll quite surely

get goose bumps considering the end.
