Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Launch Trailer Released

Eidos Montreal released the launch trailer for the future warfare RPG Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, having less than a week til the game launches on August 23.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will launch on all platforms across the world in less than a week. The results of the 2027 Aug Incident will come into clarity and the world will be forced to, once again, rely on Adam Jensen, who works as a member of the Juggernaut Collective in battle with the Illuminati. Eidos Montreal, the company that develops Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, has shown a bit of footage of the upcoming RPG up until now, which is why this new launch trailer seems a bit short and unwelcoming.

The launch trailer for the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was released earlier today and it’s a one and a half minute video focusing on the game’s themes and intensity, rather than just the mainstream gameplay. The themes are, as everyone who has ever played Deus Ex knows, heavily into politics with a tad bit of sci-fi “dust” sprinkled on top to make it seem out of this world. This time, the intensity comes from the way in which Adam Jensen deals with thematic issues, which in term provides those with simple opportunities to either go full violent or become a pacifist, which is not the way real men play the game. This is a lot of information summed up in less than two minutes, which Eidos Montreal managed to do surprisingly well indeed, especially when relying on Adam Jensen’s voice over narrator to deliver lines similar to: “If one tries to rip the world apart, someone else will always be there to put it back together.”

To sum up, the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided trailer won’t surprise anyone who’s been watching the game, but it will grab the attention of those who have forgotten that the game will be available very soon. As the biggest release this summer, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided should gather everyone’s attention at least until the final barrage arrives.
