Bethesda is Working on 3 New ‘Big’ Games

The executive producer of Bethesda, Todd Howard, hinted at three new ‘big’ titles on the horizon at the studio, but didn’t share any specific details about the games.

These last few days, it seems Bethesda has quite a few items cooking for gamers. The developer recently revealed that it’s working on a new mobile game after the success of Fallout Shelter, and shared details about the upcoming Fallout 4 VR. Luckily for fans of Bethesda’s work, those are not the only items the company has been working on. The folks at Glixel recently connected with Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard about upcoming projects. Howard revealed in the interview that the team is working on three large projects. Howard said:

We’ve got a good number of projects on the go. We’re bigger now and we do want to be putting out more stuff. We have two larger projects that are more classically the scale of what we do, but even bigger.

Taken into consideration what Bethesda has achieved with the Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises, there’s a lot of reason to get excited for the coming games. That being said, Howard kept specific details about the games close to the vest. Having said that, gamers are left to speculate about what the games could be.

Even though it’s possible Bethesda is working hard on a new IP, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that a new Elder Scrolls game and Fallout title are in development. If that’s the case, gamers may not receive any details until E3 2017. The developer recently confirmed the date for its E3 2017 presentation to be on the same day and time “as usual.”

Meanwhile, gamers can look forward to upcoming details of MachineGames’ next chapter in the Wolfenstein franchise. The title was teased last week and the Bethesda’s marketing executive Pete Hines even called the new Wolfenstein game “f#$@ing bananas.”

Gamers can also look forward to Bethesda’s horror action, Prey, which arrives in May 5th. Gamers can watch the first 30 minutes of Prey gameplay to get a feel for the game.
