Two New Pokemon Revealed for Pokemon Sun and Moon

Pokemon receives even more exciting news, as two weird looking new characters are revealed in the magazine CoroCoro for Pokemon Sun and Moon main series.

Following all the excitement for Niantic Inc.’s Pokemon GO, it’s easily forgettable that the new main series titles, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, are very close to launch. Fortunately for us, CoroCoro magazine has left a pleasant reminder – in the shape of 2 strangest looking monsters never seen before.

Serebii.net has recently posted a picture on Twitter for the latest issue of CoroCoro, which revealed 2 Pokemon that will be included in the list of new characters planned to make their debut appearance in Pokemon Sun and Moon. The creature on the left is called Kiterugama and is a Normal/Fighting type with abilities such as Fluffy and Klutz. The other Pokemon is Mimikkyu, a Ghost/Fairy type that uses Disguise ability.

Kiterugama has frighten the population of Aloha to the point that they’ve started putting up warning signs. A powerful creature that is capable of breaking anything into 2 pieces. Mimikkyu wonders in dark places, hiding from the sun where possible. It’s said that those who remove the cloth covering its body will be troubled by an illness.

Those that are hyped for the new Pokemon main series titles, Nintendo has been releasing regular teases for the upcoming games. The new reveal comes in the form of an all new Fire lizard, a Pokemon with the name Salandit. The company has taken the time to discuss a variety of new gameplay details for Sun and Moon at their Nintendo Treehouse event that happened at this year’s E3.

Regardless of Pokemon Go’s amazing success, the game is not yet available in most countries, and because of server overloads, developer Niantic had to pause the worldwide launch. With too many people addicted to catching virtual creatures, the company has made quite an effort to make its game fully ready for release.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will arrive for Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016.
