Latest Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer arrived, revealing six new Pokemon and two new features for the franchise which are online competitions and hyper training.
Although fans of Pokemon are busy right now with the mobile hit Pokemon GO, the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon is still there to look forward to as well. Brand new Pokemon will be introduced to the Pokemon Sun and Moon franchise, and a new trailer for the games have revealed six of the new monsters trainers can catch this year.
The recently revealed Pokemon contain some interesting type combinations. For instance, Wimpod is a bug/water type with a wimp out ability, letting it to automatically run away from battles when it receives too much damage. Mimikyu is also there, a ghost/fairy type that can transform into Pikachu to get affection.
Mimikyu was revealed earlier in the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine, but this is the first time it’s been seen in action, together with its English name. Another Pokemon is also properly introduced in the trailer, a normal/fighting type named Bewear, revealed in the latest issue of CoroCoro as well.
Other than Wimpod, Mimikyu, and Bewear, the trailer also unveils three other new Pokemon. First one is Bounsweet, a grass type Pokemon with abilities such as leaf guard and oblivious, and there’s also Mudsdale, a horse-looking ground-type Pokemon. Lastly, there’s Comfey, a fairy type that looks like a lei, which fits perfectly with Pokemon Sun and Moon’s Hawaiian inspired Alola region.
The newest trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon is not just revealing new Pokemon, however. It’s also shining light on two new features that are coming to the franchise in these entries. This includes the option for players to host their own online competitions by using the Pokemon Global Link, and hyper training. Hyper training gives players the ability to pay a man named Mr.Hyper to upgrade the stats of their level 100 Pokemon even further.
Pokemon Sun and Moon will launch on November 18th, exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
