The creative director of Marvel Games announced that the re-releases of the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance titles on the current gen platforms are getting fixes and a DLC.
Since the Taiwan Software Ratings Board revealed that the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games will be getting PS4 and Xbox One ports, fans started clamoring for even the slightest piece of information they could get their hands on. However, ever since the titles’ official release date for the current generation consoles have come and gone, a lot of gamers have somewhat been underwhelmed by Activision’s ports for PC and consoles.
With his being the case, Bill Rosemann stated that both he and his company are aware of fans’ concerns about the problems contained within the re-releases of the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance titles. As a matter of fact, Rosemann has assured players that the missing DLC from the first entry is under way, in addition to PC fixes that have been plaguing the re-releases since their launch.
As it can be seen in Rosemann’s tweet, the Marvel Games creative director provides the aforementioned promises and states that the publisher, Acitivision will share more details about Marvel: Ultimate Alliance’s re-releases soon. Though, Rosemann didn’t offer any exact time frame as to when the repairs for the broken PC versions and updates about the DLC will come.
The Marvel: Ultimate Alliance current-gen ports are still with no necessary elements, such as fixes for certain bugs and the missing DLC characters in the first entry, it seems as if fans will take a risk with the purchase of these titles in their current conditions at $60 as a bundle or $40 separately. Some of the PC ports are definitely unplayable, according to some Steam reviews, with some reporting controller inputs not being properly recognized, as well as their inability to be easily mapped to the keyboard and mouse. Futhermore, the PC versions are without the visual options that were in the originals.
The Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games are now out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
